CITY V BACUP BOROUGH- SATURDAY 26th AUGUST 2017 KO 3.00- GILLFORD PARK

For the third successive Saturday, City have a home league game tomorrow when Bacup are the visitors. They are unbeaten in their first three games, after wins over Eccleshall and AFC Blackpool plus a draw at home to Daisy Hill. Wayne Morrison has been amongst the goals already, with a hat-trick against Eccleshall followed by another goal last week at Blackpool.

It is notable that Bacup have been able to field the same nine players in all three of those matches, giving the squad a stable look. They endured a difficult season last year, finishing in 18th place after ending in a play-off spot in the 2015/16 campaign.

City will be without the injured Tyran Taylor, Ryan Errington and Dan Balmer, whilst Dan Greenslade & Ben Davidson are on holiday. Veteran striker Simon Tucker has been re-registered for league football having served a 3-match suspension carried over from last season.

Admission tomorrow is £4 adults, £2 concessions, and accompanied under 16s are free. Match programmes will be on sale for £1 and hot food and drinks will be on sale from the Little Griddle.
